Hello! This is SO exciting because I’m a first time homeowner as of this month, my birthday month, giveaway month! Have the stars finally aligned in 2020? 😉 I’ve purchased an adorable, old (1945), red brick home that I instantly fell in love with. With white walls everywhere, I have a blank canvas to try my first attempt at home design and DIY projects. I get so much home style inspiration scrolling through IG, but how will I do it myself?! (just keep scrolling, snap an idea, then make it my own!) It’ll be fun, it’ll be stressful, but it will all be worth it, I’m sure! The one project I absolutely look forward to is a total remodel of the downstairs guest bathroom. It’s a small closed-off space that I want to open up and make a truly functional and modern bathroom. I’m hoping to take much (or all) of it on myself! Let’s see how far along I get before calling for help, or maybe not 🙂 Anyway, I’m really excited (and nervous, if I’m being honest) to make this home, my first home, a beautiful display of charming yet modern touches to welcome all my friends and family. I am currently renovating my 1958 cape! One project at a time, currently working on my stairs. I ripped up pink carpet, pink wallpaper, wood paneling and popcorn ceiling. Covered the ceiling with beadboard. Almost done, doing everything on my own to save some money but it’s a fun learning process!

This is such a fun giveaway. I lived in Denmark for two years. My husband and I just moved back in November 2019. We bought a 30 year old home but want to redo most of the rooms. We fell in love with Scandinavian style. I love the Scandinavian style flooring the photo for this post.

We are working on a renovation of our home that was built in 1959! Brick ranch. Needs a lot of love which we have poured abundant amounts this year since moving in. Winning this would mean so much to my boyfriend and I, we purchased our first house together and it was a complete remodel. We are now three years in and all we have left are the kitchen and the outside, and then it’s just the finishing touches, accent pieces, etc. it’s been such an amazing learning experience and a true test to our relationship, but every step of the way has been incredible. One of my favorite things about a house is lots of light and lots of windows. Cooking has always been one of my passions and I spend a lot of time in my kitchen. Unfortunately, my kitchen has only one small window and the lighting is absolutely horrible. My next project is redoing my kitchen, tearing down a big piece of the wall and creating some more windows and replacing all the lights. And of course I can’t wait for my favorite part – shopping for the interior!!

My husband and I just gout a fixer upper beach bungalow and we can’t wait to make it our own. With needing to gut the whole place we could use all the money to help.
