Hello and happy friday! I want to pop in and share some of my favorite things keeping me uplifted and energized. I am pushing through to finish my BIG PROJECT I have been working on for over a year now and I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Nervously excited to share it with all of YOU! One of the most challenging things for me as an entrepreneur is simply keeping up my MOTIVATION. Through all the fun + challenging things I have been through…the one thing that has kept me going + somewhat sane is exercise!!! For various reasons it fills my cup and keeps me motivated. I know for some exercise is the last thing they want to do but for me its always been the best!. I used to RUN alot and became a little burnt out right before I had my last baby but then I found ZUMBA, and wow its been my saving grace….especially after my stroke, I was determined to master it again, even though I could not keep my balance. It took me 10 months before I could successfully start again and I will never STOP.

So the first thing that keeps me uplifted and energized is EXERCISE.

The 2nd is exercise wear…finding the right leggings, tank top or sports bra really does make a difference.. HAH

Also rewarding myself when I have reached a certain fitness goal with a new pair of leggings or workout outfit is great motivation. I’m sharing and linking my favorites to shop here. Plus the tank I am wearing from forever 21 this color is not available but there are others I linked for you under $10 and my leggins I just sized down from a medium to a Small as the others were getting too big. YAY thats a WIN!

The 3rd thing keeping me uplifted, while I work, I like to listen to books…some of my favorites are clean crime mystery and clean ROMANCE…Traci Hunter Abramson Saint Squad Series, Royal Series, really all her series are amazing + clean romance, Anita Stansfield is amazing… I listen on Deseret Bookshelf PLUS app….all the clean romance you want to find…most are set in the early 1800’s but I LOVE it. Search for The Emerald Heart, Astoria Abbey, the vicar’s daughter to name a few.

The 4th thing keeping me motivated is the I HEART MACROS program, its a few things, resistance training + an eating plan that is NOT a DIET. I hate diets…this is flexible eating with what you call MACROS..she helps figure out your macro count for each meal, based on a few factors, based on my weight, height, and body fat. Everyone’s will be slightly different. I LOVE that I can eat carbs, fats, and proteins within that MACRO count at every meal… not depriving myself. I feel great both inside and out. I was intense with the workouts for the first two months still doing my zumba, then tapered a little in the last month as I still do ZUMBA 3x a week and the workouts 2-3 times. I am still seeing results but I’m not pushing them to the extreme if that makes sense. And the 5th thing keeping me MOTIVATED and UPLIFTED…is the simple practice of GRATITUDE…It helps me to keep the right perspective about LIFE in general and allows me to be aware of the MIRACLES all around me. I also pray in the attitude of AS IF, thanking my heavenly father for specific things and circumstance I am grateful for even if they have not happened. More than anything this allows me to LET GO of the things I can not control and allows me to put more TRUST and FAITH in HIM and his plan for me.
